Delete a user from vScope

Goal

Delete a user account in vScope.

Prerequisites

• You have Administrator permissions in vScope.

Steps

1. Go to Settings > Users.
2. Click the user you want to remove.
3. Select Delete.
4. Confirm the deletion.

What happens when a user is deleted

• Owned content is removed or transferred.
• In collaborative content (for example Tracker and Tables), user references are replaced with removed user (for example in “Modified by”).
• Historical data in the Asset Repository is not affected.

Important notes

• Governance fields referencing the deleted user are not updated automatically and must be handled manually.
• This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
