vScope offers several distinct ways to get tables, dashboards, and other content to the people who need it. They’re variations on the same problem — sharing data — but differ in two important ways: whether the recipient needs a vScope login, and whether the data they see stays live or is a point-in-time copy.

Methods

• Collaborators: Invite a user or group to access saved content directly. They must be a vScope user and log in to view it. Data stays live.
• Export (CSV/XLSX): Download a one-time file. No login is needed to open it, but it’s a point-in-time copy, and you distribute the file yourself.
• Snapshot: Generate a read-only, shareable link to a table’s current configuration. Still requires logging in to vScope to open, but the data behind it stays live until the link expires after 30 days. See Snapshots.
• Share to Teams: A shortcut for sending a link to Microsoft Teams. It inherits the login and liveness properties of whatever it links to.
• Scheduled exports: Automatically email a file export on a recurring basis. This is the only method that can reach recipients outside your vScope user base — since it delivers a self-contained file rather than a link, it doesn’t require the recipient to log in to vScope at all.

• Ongoing access for a team that’s in vScope → Collaborators
• A one-off file for right now → Export
• A shareable live link without saving or exporting → Snapshot
• A quick nudge into a Teams channel → Share to Teams
• Recurring delivery to people outside vScope (customers, partners) → Scheduled exports
