Add your first data source

Pick one data source you already have credentials for. Follow the mini-recipe, then run a test.

Steps

Go to Discovery → Credentials → Add.
Select the data source (AD/Azure/VMware/…).
Paste credential details; try to keep least privilege for the account permission.
Add Targets. Examples:
- For AD: add domain controllers via IP address och host name.
- For Windows: add IP address or ranges.
- For Azure/VMware: add the tenant/subscription or vCenter endpoint as the target.
Click Test (lightning bolt) to validate connectivity.
If OK, click save to credential encrypted on the vScope server.
