Integrating VMware with vScope provides a comprehensive view of your virtual infrastructure, collecting data on essential asset types such as VMs, hosts, datastores, and networks.
Requirements

Frequently Asked Questions

Section titled “How do I import Custom Attributes from VMware?”vScope can import Custom Attributes from VMware. To access these attributes, navigate to Tags → Created from discovery → Create tag. When creating a new tag, set the Asset type to All Machines and choose VMWare as the data source. Once configured, click Value from, and vScope will present all available attribute values in a dropdown menu — including those that are not mapped as default. All discovered VMware Custom Attributes will appear in this list as long as they are available from the VMware data source.
