Windows Server

Follow these steps to install and configure vScope on a Windows Server.

  1. Download the vScope installation client and run it on your server.
  2. Run the Express Installation, or uncheck the box for Advanced Setup if you want to customize the installation.
  3. Complete the setup process.

Important: If vScope is being installed on a server with other running services, ensure that these firewall ports are available and not in use by other applications.

Accessing vScope for the First Time

You can access vScope by:

  1. Opening a browser on the vScope server and navigating to localhost, or
  2. Using a browser on another device (recommended) by entering http://[yourservername]:80, replacing [yourservername] with the actual server name or IP address.
