Register License
Upon your first login to vScope, you’ll be prompted to select a license option that best suits your needs.
Registering a New License
-
Existing Account: If you already have an account on the vScope Account Portal, you can use the license code provided with your existing subscription.
-
New Account: If you don’t have an account yet, register your organization by visiting vScope Account Registration. From there, you can sign up for a free trial or choose a subscription plan to activate vScope.
Where is my License Code?
The code is provided to you either by a InfraSight representative or you can find it on the License account page. This is how you find it on your License account page:
- Go to http://account.vscope.net/login
- Sign in with your corresponding credentials (notice that this is a separate account than the vScope account)
- Go to the Licenses tab
- You’ve found it!
Registering an Offline Installation
We recommend installing vScope on a server with internet access to automatically receive updates and fixes from our license server. However, if vScope needs to run on a server in a closed network, you’ll need to activate the installation using a license file.
Obtaining the License File
You can get the license file by downloading it from the vScope Account Portal, where all available licenses are accessible.
- Go to http://account.vscope.net/login
- Sign in with your corresponding credentials (notice that this is a separate account than the vScope account)
- Go to the Licenses tab
- You’ve found it! The “Download License” button to the right will provide you with the license file that you >then upload to the vScope server
Uploading the License File to vScope
If installing vScope on a machine with no internet access, you’ll reach a page that requests a license file upload to complete the installation.
