Register License

Upon your first login to vScope, you’ll be prompted to select a license option that best suits your needs.

Registering a New License

  • Existing Account: If you already have an account on the vScope Account Portal, you can use the license code provided with your existing subscription.

  • New Account: If you don’t have an account yet, register your organization by visiting vScope Account Registration. From there, you can sign up for a free trial or choose a subscription plan to activate vScope.

Where is my License Code?

The code is provided to you either by a InfraSight representative or you can find it on the License account page. This is how you find it on your License account page:

  1. Go to http://account.vscope.net/login
  2. Sign in with your corresponding credentials (notice that this is a separate account than the vScope account)
  3. Go to the Licenses tab
  4. You’ve found it!

Registering an Offline Installation

We recommend installing vScope on a server with internet access to automatically receive updates and fixes from our license server. However, if vScope needs to run on a server in a closed network, you’ll need to activate the installation using a license file.

Obtaining the License File

You can get the license file by downloading it from the vScope Account Portal, where all available licenses are accessible.

  1. Go to http://account.vscope.net/login
  2. Sign in with your corresponding credentials (notice that this is a separate account than the vScope account)
  3. Go to the Licenses tab
  4. You’ve found it! The “Download License” button to the right will provide you with the license file that you >then upload to the vScope server

Uploading the License File to vScope

If installing vScope on a machine with no internet access, you’ll reach a page that requests a license file upload to complete the installation.
