To provide proactive support, vScope gathers limited system and license data to help identify and resolve any license issues quickly, such as reassigning or updating license configurations. Here’s a breakdown of the types of data collected and their purposes.
License Information
- License Details: Information about your license type, version, and specific configuration.
- License Dates: Start and expiry dates for the current license.
- Billable Units: Count of billable assets (e.g., number of devices or users covered).
Installation Details
- vScope Version: Current version installed on your system.
- Setup Type: Whether the setup is a Proxy or Master installation.
- Installation Date: When the current version was installed.
- Database Size: Size of the vScope database in use.
- Project Path: File path to vScope’s project folder, set during installation.
- Proxy Count: Number of Proxy installations connected.
- Installation Status: Whether the installation is active or inactive, indicating if it’s currently in use.
vScope Server Data
- Server Version: The current version running on the vScope server.
- Operating System Version: OS information of the server.
- Access URL and Web Port: The URL and port used to access vScope.
- Server Name and IP: The internal name and IP address of the vScope server.
- Resource Usage: Information on disk usage, RAM allocation, and CPU utilization.
vScope Proxy Information
- Proxy Version: Version of vScope server software on each Proxy.
- Proxy OS Version: OS details of the Proxy server.
- Proxy Access URL and Web Port: URL and port information for accessing the Proxy.
- Proxy Server Name and IP: Identifiers for each Proxy server in use.
- Resource Utilization: Disk size, usage, RAM, and CPU data for Proxies.

- Java Version: Java version included in the vScope installation package.
- Java Path: Path to the Java installation set during setup.
