vScope is hosted on a virtual or physical server in your datacenter. Minimum requirements for the server are the following:
- Windows OS*
- 12 GB RAM (of which 8GB is dedicated to vScope)
- 2 CPU cores
- 60 GB disk storage, preferably SSD
- Access to the resources that are going to be inventoried by vScope
- The server also needs to be able to access the installation file on vScope’s Download page
*vScope can also be run in a Docker Container and on a Linux OS. However, the Linux version doesn’t support the Windows protocol WMI.
