vScope can be used to discover certificates stored in the local cert store on the machine. For this, vScope uses the WinRM protocol in the WMI probe.

To get started, go to Discovery > Credentials > WMI, and open Advanced Settings. There are two options relevant to the certificate inventory in the WMI credential’s advanced options

Certificates in the Local Machine Personal Store
Syncs all certificates located in the Local Machine Personal Store (Local Machine\Personal) and all of its subdirectories.

IIS sites and connected certificates
Syncs IIS Sites and certificates located in the Local Machine Personal Store (Local Machine\Personal) but not subdirectories.
